WHAT IS SHOW CHOIR?
​
A show choir is a performance group combining choral singing with choreographed movement or dance, sometimes adding a thematic element to the show.

We learn and perform genres such as:
Rock
Pop
Jazz
Musical Theatre
Soul
Disco
Country
and so so much more!

AUDITION PROCESS
3 Simple steps with a LOT of support
STEP 1
STEP 2
Vocal Audition
Use Sign up Genius to make a time to have a 10 min zoom with the Director. Prepare a 1 min acapella (no instrument backing) song of your choice to perform in your audition. The Director may also use this time to do a range test and ask a few musical background questions.
Dance Audition
A youtube link will be emailed to you with a Dance/movement tutorial. Practice this as much as you like in a 24hr period. Then video it and send it to the Director Â

STEP 3
Attend our first rehearsal
Come to a rehearsal and make sure you found your tribe and let us see how you fit!
The Director's decision will be made immediately after the first rehearsal and is final.

We also currently have a once a year registration fee of $30 to cover your SCSC Shirt. This is used as part of our performance costume.
